This step needs some patience as you have to test all the provided screws, washers, and spacers as there are a lot of variations.

After testing, you can set aside the correct hardware with the adequate length for your TV and TV mount’s threaded holes.

Step 3: Attach the Mounting Hardware

This step can differ because of your TV back. If you have identified that then you can attach your mounting hardware in further steps.

Step 3-A: Attach the Mounting Hardware with Flat Back TV

In this step, the screws (E, K, M, N, or O) differ so place the correct ones for flat back TV. After aligning the bracket holes with screw holes on the back of your TV, level the TV bracket.

Place the washers carefully on the holes and insert the screws. Tighten the screws so they are firmly attached to the TV bracket.

Step 3-B: Attach the Mounting Hardware with Irregular or Obstructed Back TV

In this step, the screws (F, L, P, Q, or R) are used. After aligning the bracket holes with screw holes on the back of your TV, level it properly.

Place the washers and insert the screws. Do not over-tighten and firmly attach the screws to the TV bracket.

Step 4: Determine Your Wall Mount Location

Measure the height of the TV till its center and height of the TV till its bottom. This will give an accurate location of your TV mount.

Mark the spot with a pencil and drill holes in the wall.

Step 5: Wall Plate Installation

This step is different for drywall or wood studded wall and concrete or brick wall. After identifying your wall type, proceed further.

Step 5-A: Wall Plate Installation for Drywall or Wood Studded Wall

For drywall or wood studded walls, wooden drill bits are used. Locate the studs by using an edge-to-edge stud finder and drill the pilot holes using a wooden drill bit after aligning the wall plate.

Moreover, insert the bolts but DO NOT over-tighten them.

Step 5-B: Wall Plate Installation for Concrete or Brick Wall

For concrete or brick walls, masonry drill bits are used. Align the wall plate and level it to the desired height.

Moreover, drill pilot holes using masonry drill bits and insert the bolts after aligning the wall plate with anchors.

Lastly, DO NOT over-tighten the bolts.
